America's Family Outdoors partnered with Freedomfest in Williston, FL for an entire week! The event drew more than 4,200 in total attendance over the six nights. Throughout the week, thousands of dollars in gift cards, money orders, and prizes were given away to the community. Food was cooked and served nightly for everyone who attended. On Wednesday night over 3,500 toys were given to the children of Levy County and on Friday a car was given away! America's Family Outdoors would like to say a great big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make Freedomfest a successful event in Williston, Fl.

The America's Family Outdoors team launched at Morris Bridge Rd in the Hillsborough River and headed south to I-75. The scenery was beautiful and there is an abundance of wildlife in this section of the river. You may see wild hogs, owls, deer, raccoons, alligators, and many species of birds. Many fish were caught using 6" Zoom worms and #7 silver and gold Rapala lures. Fishing is great in this section of the river year around especially if you were fishing with a bream buster and crickets.

We had a great time fishing in the Hillsborough River between Lettuce Lake Park and I-75. I caught more than 20 fish in this section of the river using 4" and 6" Zoom lizards, a black buzz bate, and Zoom flukes. Fishing is best in this section of the river when the water is low during February through June.
